Welcome to WDawsons. As our mission statement says, we will provide customer service above all else. Fittingly, the aim of our website is to help us better serve our dealers. It is designed to provide information, supply forms, show our product lines, give technical information for those products, and convey any news & events relevant to our manufacturers and our industry as a whole. Our goal is to provide the most complete information and best service possible to our dealers. We encourage you to take advantage of all the services we provide and ask that you give us any feedback on how we can make them better.

Bill Dawson

I was the Marketing & Merchandising Manager for Sage before moving east in 1998 as an Independent Manufacturers Sales Representative for the mid-Atlantic territory. Prior to that, I managed REI’s Adventure Travel Program which opened the door to working at Sage and eventually as their Rep in the east. I have volunteered with Project Healing Waters, The Jim Range National Casting Call, AFFTA and the AFFTA Family & Youth Casting Call as well as The Fisherman’s Conservation Association of New York where I received a 2013 lifetime achievement award.

I was also very honored to Receive the Inaugural Jim Range Memorial Award presented by AFFTA in 2009. I am a Certified FFF Fly Casting Instructor & have fished the usual & unusual hot spots in the US, Central America, Russia, Bahamas, Christmas Island, British Columbia & The Seychelles. I was lucky enough to have pioneered the 1st fly fishing trips to Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula.
